CHIMO [My God] - Nkem Dlyt

One of Ja’ano Records Gospel’s newest signees and perhaps their hidden wildcard, ASIKA NKEM ATHEKAME who is fondly called NKEM DLYT an abbreviation for “Delight” is a wonderful and fast rising gospel artist. 

She steps into the gospel music stage with poise, elegance, and a humble spirit, and not to forget a captivating voice, they are all recipes for success! She is currently managed by Ja’ano Records And it doesn’t hurt having her husband producer, Joe, at the helm of her first release backing her up. 

A chat with NKEM DLYT, reveals this is her official single titled ‘CHIMO’ which means “My God” from her debut album which is titled ‘The Unchanging God” Chimo her hit track is a song of testimony and appreciation to God the Shield and Buckler. 

The Song “Chimo” sums up everything about God’s unwavering love. Thanking Him for Who He is and not only for what He has done. 

The song was produced, mixed and mastered in the City of Port Harcourt @ Love BugStudios. Her songs of praise to God means nothing else than to ascribe to HIM the Glorious perfections which God possesses; we are just mortals and one of the ways we can get closer to God is through praise and worship songs. We have no choice than to Give God what He deserves.
